What Players are Saying

I chose to be apart of the Gunners club because I knew that the coaches would push me and lead me to become the college player I am today. The players on the team were committed to making themselves and the team better every practice and put in the work that was needed to be done. The coaches were committed to the players and to making sure we were scouted continuously by college recruits. Not only did the coaches make sure that we had plenty of college coaches watching us, but they made sure we knew how to interact with them and be professional. Joining the Gunners has lead me to be the Division 1 athlete I am today, playing at Austin Peay State University in Tennessee. I owe my college soccer career to the Gunners persistent drive to get me here.

I played for the Gunners since it was established, and I am so thankful that I did. My team became my family, and the coaches provided excellent training for me to develop as a player. All of the coaches, especially Alex Cunliffe, guided me through the college recruiting process and helped me find the perfect college fit for me to play at the next level

-Marissa Carpenter, University of the Pacific (DI)

I am beyond grateful for the experience and the lifelong friends that the ISC Gunners club has brought me. Even now at college, where I play DII Soccer at Seattle Pacific University, I miss many of the coaches that helped me along the way, and I miss the most amazing club that has provided me with so much. Without the dedicated staff, my amazing teammates, and the people from other teams who we occasionally practiced with, I would have never been able to live out my passion of playing soccer in college, or found some of my best friends. I would hands down recommend this club to anyone due to the amazing experience I had throughout my youth. With that, I am forever thankful that I spent 8 years at this special club that I consider a second home.

-Ava Giovanola, Seattle Pacific University (DII)

Playing for the ISC Gunners my entire youth career shaped me into the person I am today. Coaches and staff made it a point to not only improve my game on the field, but the type of person I was off the field. I would not be able to say I am a collegiate athlete if it was not for the tremendous effort put in by the coaches to assist in recruitment and college placement. I would highly recommend the ISC Gunners as a place to not only play soccer, but to be a part of a club founded on community, service and most importantly family.

-McKinley Fodness, Wheeling Jesuit University (DII)

My time playing for the Gunners truly shaped who I am today; it enabled me to pursue my passion for the game, build meaningful and lifelong friendships, and, most importantly, it taught me invaluable lessons about life beyond soccer. I learned that, with hard work, perseverance, and a team first mentality, adversity isn’t such a bad thing. In fact, it can allow our “little team that could” to win the Surf Cup title despite everything that stood in our way. Being a part of the Gunners family is an experience I wouldn’t trade for the world and I am forever grateful that I get to call myself a Gunner for life.

-Claudia Longo, University of Washington (DI)

After waiting until my last year of club to finally move to the Gunners community, I can honestly say I should have made it a lot sooner! I can't think of any other group of girls, combined with the amazing coaching staff that would make the hour and half drive, three nights a week to practice, much more worth it. Not to mention how welcoming the whole team was to make the transition smooth. This lifelong family I have made, challenged me, pushed me out of my comfort zone and ultimately helped me become the player and person I am today. I truly have no idea where I would be without the continuous help and support of the Gunners coaching staff. Once a Gunner, always a Gunner!

-Karlee Stueckle, University of Washington (DI)

Throughout my nine years of Gunners experience, I have made so many life long relationships with my teammates and coaches. The support I felt throughout my time at the club pushed me to pursue my dream of playing college soccer. This wouldn't have been possible without the hours of work that the ISC Gunners staff put in. Whether it was a late night phone call, putting together a highlight reel for me, or meeting with me whenever I had questions - the support of my coaches was always available when needed. I couldn't thank this program enough for where I've ended up. I'll always be proud to be a Gunner!
