Fall 2020

Covid 19 Training Format

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic this years Fall Recreational Season will look different than in years past. Our staff has worked to put together the best possible program to allow our youngest players to learn and enjoy the beautiful game while also adhering to strict government mandated safety protocols. We believe that kids need an outlet and, given our current stage 2 status, we are able to provide a program for children to play in a safe environment.

For all details including the Washington State Guidelines for youth sports and the results of our recent rec family survey please see the most recent email from our Recreational Director HERE.

This program will offer fun, interactive sessions all while social distancing and following all safety guidelines. Team Formations, Jerseys & Coach Assignments:

Teams will be formed per the registration buddy requests and by school as per normal. Please note that we do our very best to meet all buddy requests, but these are not guaranteed. Formed teams will train together each week, and each team will receive their ISC Gunners recreation program jerseys during week 1 of our Fall Clinic! All teams will need a volunteer coach as per normal to assist Premier coaching staff each Saturday!

Team Formations & Coach Assignments Finalization Date: September 1st

Team Formations Sent to All Families: September 4th

Team Field Assignments:

Each recreation team will be assigned a specific field location to train at for the duration of the program (all 6 weeks).

For example: Field 7A - GU5 Neon Pink Cheetahs; Field 7B - GU5 Royal Blue Dolphins

Field Assignment Maps will be sent to all recreation families on September 4th in conjunction with team formations!

Contingency Plan:

If we move to Phase 3, we will be able to play games and proceed as we normally would with Rec coaches as per normal, coaching in games on the weekend.

If we should revert to stage 1 for any reason families will be refunded on a pro-rated basis.

Details on this are TBD – we will update all families if/when we move into Phase 3 in King County.

We are looking forward to seeing you on the pitch!
