The Club's recreation program is one of the largest in the State of Washington. It provides a fun and safe environment for children ages 4-11 to enjoy the beautiful game of soccer. Recreational soccer is primarily devoted to the enjoyment and development of soccer players without the emphasis on travel or high-level competition. The purpose of recreational soccer is to provide an opportunity for the participants to have fun, learn the sport and develop life skills including a lifelong love of the game. Providing great value, with fields conveniently located within Issaquah, the Club has a place for all children regardless of age or skill level.

The youth recreation program is divided up into three age ranges:

U5 to U8 (Micro Soccer)

U9 to U12 (Mod Soccer)

U13+ (REC Soccer)

APRIL

April 1st - Registration Opens; All Age Groups

***All buddy requests are due at the time of registration; BOTH parties must request each other in order for the buddy request to be met.

***Please keep in mind that as soon as the roster cap is met for each team, NO more players can be added to that team.

***Teams are formed by registration date and by school, grade and buddy request.

MAY

July 10th - Deadline for coaches to send in practice request forms U7 - U12; (See link below; link was also included in registration confirmation when coaches registered)

AUGUST

August 1st - U5 & U6 registration closes permanently

August 8th - Practices begin for U7+

Week of August 26th - Tentative roster sent to coaches (U5 & U6)

August 17th and 18th - 2-Day Rec. Camp TENTATIVE Dates and Times

• U7: 8:30 - 9:30am
• U8: 9:30 - 10:30am
• U9: 10:30 - 11:30am
• U10/U11/U12: 11:30 - 12:30pm

SEPTEMBER

September 1st - U5 & U6 coaches meeting and Equipment Pick-up

• Time: 6:15pm - 7:15pm

September 2nd - All game schedules released (U5 - U12)

September 7th - Jersey Day! Show your colors and wear your ISC jersey to school!

September 9th - First Friday night of MICRO soccer for U5 & U6

• Location: Lake Sammamish State Park
• Time: 5:00 - 6:15pm
• Format: Coach Demo and Small Sided Games Format

September 10th - First Morning of MICRO soccer for U7 & U8

• Location: Lake Sammamish State Park
• Time: 9:00 - 10:15am
• Format: Small Sided Games Format

September 10th/11th or 17th/18th - First weekend of games (U9 - U12)

September 17th - ISC Junior Jamboree (U7 - U12)

***The 2016 Junior Jamboree will run on a Saturday; The first game of the Junior Jamboree will count as a league game for U7 - U12 teams.

September 14th - All practices reduced to 1 hour; 4:00 - 5:00pm, 5:00 - 6:00pm, 6:00 - 7:00pm

OCTOBER

October 13th - Last day of practices for all rec teams. Coaches can request additional practice time after this date depending on weather, field availability and all park closing times.

October 28th - Last Friday night MICRO session for U6 & U6

October 29th - Last Saturday morning MICRO session for U7 & U8

NOVEMBER

November 14th/15th or 19th/20th - Last weekend of games for U9 - U12

November 19th & 20th - Mandatory Equipment Return; 10:00am - 12:00pm

***Please return all cones and pinnies to LSSP fields.

***Please wash all pinnies and make sure equipment is clean and dry. You may keep the game balls.

DECEMBER

December - 2016 Fall Rec Wrap Up Meeting; Time and location TBD (meeting will be held based on coach RSVP's)
