Players of the Month - August 2019

"Brooklynn is dynamite. A friend of mine’s mother once told me when I was a player that “dynamite comes in small packages”, because I was a tiny little thing, only 4’11” by

Brooklynn Patnode

the time I was a senior, and Brooklynn reminds of that saying.  She’s tiny, but mighty and plays like she’s 10 feet tall. She is a huge part of the G10A team with her passion, determination and her all out effort which she provides in each match day in and day out. In the Crossfire Challenge, Brooklynn was by far the most valuable player. She played almost every minute of every game, and really dug deep within her heart to grind out every second while still performing at a very high level. She’s been outstanding the entire month of July and deserves the player of the month award. I am honored to have her on the G10A team and look forward to continuing to work with her throughout the remainder of this year and years to come!"

"I have been working with Jack now for a little over a year and I have seen his game go from strength to strength. This is down to him, the way he applies himself both at practices and

Jack Coughlan

in games is second to none. Jack fully deserves to be our player of the month for July. Jack has been an integral part of our teams success as he always leads by example, and always gives 100% no matter what. Jack's performances during the Crossfire Challenge shows how far he has come both as a player and as a person. He scored and assisted some crucial goals, while scoring the winner in the final. I am extremely proud of the work Jack has put in to get to this stage and how he represents our club. He is a great kid, great player, comes from a great family, and I am very privileged to be able to coach Jack and help him with his development."
