ISC Gunners seeks a WPSL Head Coach for the 2019 season.

ISC Gunners WPSL Head Coach

ISC Gunners WPSL Head Coach Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

- Head Coach - early May through the End of July 2019

- Attend WPSL tryouts in March 2019 – Sat. and Sun. 90-miute sessions
- Attend WPSL Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser in May 2019 and assist with duties assigned by WPSL Directors
- Attend all games, home and away – some away games requiring an overnight hotel stay, in addition to a day trip to Canada (passport/WA Nexxus card required) – 7-12 league games total
- 3 x training sessions per week (weekly dates/times TBD) – arrive minimum of 30 minutes prior to training session for setup/organization - Conduct training sessions in accordance with the Club's player development philosophy as determined by ISC's DOC/WPSL Directors
- Attend ALL WPSL events - If you are unable to attend a practice or game you have been scheduled for, it is your responsibility to inform the ISC WPSL Directors so that arrangements can be made to cover your absence if possible
- Assist with game day setup and breakdown for every home game

- Recruit and build team roster
- Recruitment of current-collegiate, ex-collegiate, ex-professional, and current-professional players (current-professional players requires specific regulations to be met i.e. amateur reinstatement etc) and top youth players (U18/U19)

- Marketing/Fundraising
- Market and fundraise for the WPSL program

- Gain approval from the WPSL Directors for any/all purchasing needs, practice cancelations, game changes etc.
- Attend WPSL coaching staff meetings as requested by the WPSL Directors and/or ISC’s Director Soccer Operations, Technical Director, Board of Directors and Executive Director
- Be an ambassador for the club in the community
- Be on time for all events
- Wear ISC attire that's given to you to all ISC related events
- Demonstrate respect, integrity, professionalism etc. at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned by the ISC WPSL Directors

ISC Gunners WPSL Directors Responsibilities:

• Hotel rentals for away trips
• Rental cars for hotel away trips/Canada trips
• Game day setup and logistics
• Golf tournament and camp setup and logistics
• Registration through WPSL League
• Registration for tryouts, and WPSL team through ISC website
• Paperwork collection from players
• Host housing for players
• Field rentals
• Equipment necessities
• WPSL Directors are responsible for all remaining administration items, unless assigned to the WPSL Head Coach by the WPSL Directors

** WPSL Head Coach is overseen/managed by the WPSL Program Directors – Head Coach is expected to communicate daily and work alongside the WPSL Program Directors for any/all needs, wants, progress updates, planning, etc.

Compensation Information:

• Head Coach will be on ISC Gunners Payroll from May 2019 through July 2019
• Head coach will receive a bonus for advancing the team to regionals
• Head coach will receive a bonus for advancing the team to nationals
• Head coach provided with all necessary equipment to run training sessions, games etc.
• Head coach provided with ISC Gunners attire to wear for all events, etc.

Job Qualifications:

• US Soccer “C” License/USC Advanced National/Premier Diploma, or equivalent combination of coaching and playing experience.
• Experience coaching high level women’s programs (collegiate, DA, U19+, semi-professional, etc.)
• Collegiate/Professional playing experience preferred.
